Here is that Operation Barnabas update I promised.
1. There is a 40% chance that an OB team visiting your church will have to go to the emergency room. We hit the lottery with Jacob’s ankle.
2. McDonalds is still an option
3. They really do love everything just like their motto says.
4. White Grace Brethren kids still can’t and never will be able to dance
5. When students and leaders sacrificially give up their summers to encourage others and share Christ they catch fire and it is great to be around.
Those kids were SO amazing. I am in such awe of their love for Christ. They encouraged me and helped me catch the fire, as well. Poor Jake- I talked to him at Big Grace, today, and I am not sure he will be jumping down stairs, in the dark, ever again. haha.
Linked you on the blog. have fun in cedarville.
i think the only black grace brethren kids are the ones i grew up with in clinton, md.
I think I remember telling you the other night that game they were playing sounded dangerous!?!?! Did they think to call a “MOM” and ask if it was OK to play that!?!?! Just wondering…………………………ha!! love ya!!
I was one of those Barnabas kids – broke a finger in the first week of tour in 2000. Another girl on my team broke her foot. Fun times.
